RTM will then provide an estimate of cost, full quote or tender, and or other documentation as applicable.Or you might prefer to take advantage of our tailored "Lock In" rates for your project.

RTM will consult with the client and all necessary authorities, arrange all permits, plans, equipment and ultimately supply you with a quality traffic management team to allow you to conduct your works in a safe and secure environment, be it minor road works, an outdoor event or works on a major freeway.

WHERE QUALITY MATTERS

RTM will be able to meet your extreme deadlines with its experienced and flexible, fully accredited workforce. As a guarantee RTM will have a principal or senior traffic supervisor in attendance at your jobsite for the duration of the works.

RTM wil supply you with Australian Standards AS 1742-3-2002 compliant traffic management equipment and documentation.

 

RTM will supply you with the latest in traffic management equipment and will provide documentation that conforms to or exceeds the Australian Standards AS1742-3-2002

 

                                        

QUALITY ASSURANCE

        RTM complies with Australian Standards regulations including – but not limited to –
   AS 1742.3; Work Safe codes of practice; The Victorian Occupational Health and
  Safety Act 1985; and the Road Management Act 2004

 

        RTM’s fundamental ethos is to eliminate risk (to the greatest degree possible) –
    to eliminate public safety risk and to eliminate client public liability risk

 

         RTM manages risk by co-ordinated, coherent and professional planning, including:

 RTM manages risk by having traffic management plans prepared after site inspections by the firm’s principals –
each job is individually visited and assessed, preferably in consultation with its clients

 RTM manages risk by producing a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) for each job

 RTM manages risk by using the Australian Standards governing traffic management as the minimum for the plans it prepares for our clients

 RTM manages risk by using CAD technology to prepare our traffic management plans to ensure accuracy

 RTM manages risk by ensuring that municipal permits and where applicable, a Vic Roads Memorandum of Consent (MOC) for each job have been granted for all our traffic management works, and that RTM  complies strictly to those permits

 RTM manages risk through our comprehensive quality control system, including vehicle inspections prior to departure on each job (eliminating faulty equipment, wrong signage), consistent signage on jobs, use of walkie talkies for teams of traffic controllers; accurate measurements for the placement of road signs

 RTM manages risk by using the firm’s superior communications skills to contact stakeholders, including local government, utilities, active co-operation with client crews on the job; local residents and businesses that are advised about upcoming road works by letter drops; the traveling public that are advised about upcoming road works by media announcements (especially radio traffic alerts); vehicles that enter RTM’s managed area where a combination of eye contact and hand gestures help to reinforce the safe environment message

 RTM manages risk through our continuous improvement program, including reports back to clients where issues have been identified

 RTM manages risk through our in-house training program on all aspects of road traffic management (all RTM supervisors and traffic controllers are competency and safety trained by fully qualified and certified trainers)
